We are delighted to be bringing you this event in 2021, raising money for the Aspinall Foundation. We will have a spooky theme with this new event to celebrate Halloween. Taking place right within the park it is a special chance to see some of the animals at the park.
Bookings for this event will open soon.
The Howletts Halloween 5k Run takes place within the grounds of Howletts Wild Animal Park and gives you a unique opportunity to see lots of different animals around the reserve, but with a spooky twist! The route winds its way all around the site, and is open exclusively for the start of the run. With a kids Halloween trail as well as refreshments this will be a friendly, fun event for all the family with our usual great atmosphere.
We actively encourage you to fundraise for the event, and as a thanks from the Aspinall Foundation if you raise over £50 you will receive two free entry tickets to the park, valid for 12 months! Start Fundraising now using The Aspinall Foundation Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/jaf. Funds raised will go towards The Aspinall Foundations overseas projects to protect endangered animals from extinction and help to return more animals #backtothewild. Cheetah populations are in serious trouble, with only approximately 6675 adults remaining in the wild Cheetahs are in need of immediate conservation action. The Aspinall Foundation are working with the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Somaliland to rescue and rehabilitate cheetahs as well as lions and other species from illegal trafficking and return them to the wild where they belong. As such EVERY finisher of the Howletts Run will get a bespoke cheetah medal so join us now in celebrating the fastest animal in the world by running with us.
