This popular race is back in 2018!! A relatively fast and flat 10k route around the countryside on the edge of the historic town of Sandwich.
This popular race returns in 2018, after its best ever year in 2017. We made lots of changes for 2017 and you all loved it, so it will be more of the same, with some improvements thrown in! The revised route in 2017 was a great success, so that's back again as well. The 10k starts on the edge of the ancient town of Sandwich and also uses the lanes around the village of Worth. For the first time the event will be officially measured by UK Athletics representatives. The route is flat and mostly fast and so good times are possible. The route is suitable for all types of runner from beginner to elite.
The race raises money for the Sandwich Sports and Leisure Trust who raise money to invest in the sports facility in Sandwich.
